Three Questions to Ask Yourself Before Choosing An Online Weight Loss Program

As with anything else found on the internet these days, there are so many online weight loss programs available that it can be an intimidating task for you to decide which one to pick.

As a nutrition specialist and someone who loves experimenting with new nutrition and exercise programs, I have tested more than my share of online weight loss programs and found that, in general, there is a short list of criteria that the really good ones usually meet.

Keep in mind that this is not cardinal rule, but more often than not, if you are satisfied with the answer to the three following questions regarding your online weight loss program, you’ve most likely got a winner!

Three questions to ask before choosing your online weight loss program:

  1. Who is the author of this program? A really good weight loss program or course will be written by a true fitness expert, someone who has actually accomplished what they are claiming, or someone who has interviewed, researched, and developed a weight loss method based on other real-life successful weight loss programs. Unfortunately anymore, there are a host of people using the internet just for the sake of making a quick buck, and they will do or say anything to get you to buy their program. So just make sure that the author of the online weight loss program you are interested in has some solid credentials and is legitimate. (hint: a great way to figure this out is by seeing if there are testimonials from people who have actually bought and used the product with great results. It is illegal for marketers to make up false testimonials about their product, so a lot of testimonials is usually a great sign).
  2. What is the content of this program? Hey, this may seem like an obvious question, but you’d be surprised at how many people make their buying decisions based on a cool title or on looks of the product alone. So just make sure that the online weight loss program you are interested in promises great- yet realistic- results, and that they are prescribing sound exercise and nutrition methods to achieve the weight loss. There certainly are optimal training and eating methods for optimal weight loss results, and many of the good programs out there have gotten these methods down pat.
  3. What is the price of the program? Again, this may seem like an obvious question to ask, but remember that just because a program is super expensive does not mean that it is going to deliver the best results. I have three online weight loss programs that I recommend to my readers right now that each sell for under $40. So don’t necessarily think that more expensive equates to better results.

So there’s my short list of questions to ask yourself before choosing an online weight loss program. Again, these are my top picks based on lots of personal research and testing. However, I would encourage you to do your own research in order to pick the online weight loss program that works best for you!
